We Give Thanks

We Give Thanks

Colossians 3:15 says “let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Just as we are called to function as one part of the whole body of Christ, our staff, mentors, and donors bring their unique gifts to make up one Friendship Ministries. We are so blessed to have you as part of our community.

We want to recognize the mentors and leaders who guide the groups to ensure that ALL of God’s children have the occasion to hear the good news. Thank you for volunteering your time to restore God’s kingdom on earth through our ministry. We also want to thank the other members of Friendship Groups, our Friends, for enjoying our Bible studies as much as we enjoy developing them.

We also want to thank those who have supported us somewhere along our journey. It is through your gifts that we were able to develop our Bible studies. Your passion for inclusivity has helped spread the word of God to all ears that are listening. We especially want to highlight those who helped us to reach our Kickstarter campaign goal. We felt so overwhelmed with grace by your response.

Thanksgiving is a great occasion to reflect on what makes Friendship Ministries so vital to the church. We encourage people of ALL abilities to come together with one purpose, united by love and friendship. As it says in Colossians 3:15, although we are different parts in one body, we make up one body of Christ. We are ALL invited to hear his word.

As Psalms 107:1 puts it so eloquently, “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
