Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.”Luke 9:23-24
What does Jesus’ life teach us about discipleship? We invite you to explore this very question in our newest accessible Bible study, “The Road to Jerusalem.” Follow Jesus in the final days before his sacrifice on the cross and learn what it means to join him along “the way.”
This study is split into 7 unique sessions:
- Taking Up the Way
- The Way of Self-Reliance or the Way of Trust
- The Way of Compassion
- The Way of Peace
- Losing Our Way
- The Way of Forgiveness
- The Way Goes On
Each session focuses on a specific aspect of discipleship that is modeled in Jesus’ life. By the end of the study, participants will be equipped to face the daily challenges of discipleship and feel revitalized in their commitment to Christ. This study is a great addition to a traditional Friendship group or an inclusive adult small group that includes a person or two with disability. It includes multimedia resources including sign language, videos, music, and dramas to bring this Bible study to life.
The 7-unit study is just $7 per member and includes online access to all digital curriculum. “The Road to Jerusalem” is available for purchase here.
