Congregational Study

Our Congregational Study provides you with a comprehensive look at your congregation’s support and opportunities available for children, youth, and adults of all abilities in the life of your church (including worship, education, and service). We will specifically look at the integration of Universal Design elements into your environment, building, worship, and education opportunities, and your congregation’s individualized planning process for members with specific needs.

Our comprehensive Congregational Study utilizes a three-step process of All Belong’s “What do we see? What do we think? What do we do?”:

  1. See: Seeing the strengths and needs of the current environment through interviews with staff, volunteers, and church members and observations of your programs and services
  2. Think: A collaborative thinking process with your staff that summarizes the gathered information and determines the direction for reaching your goals.
  3. Do: A detailed written report with findings, recommendations, and resources to guide your community in faithfully building belonging. Plus, the support of our team through a year-long (renewable) Partner Membership.

Depending on the size of your congregation, our consultants will spend one to two days conducting interviews, observations, and discussions to provide you with an in-depth look at your current situation and vision. Following the Congregational Study, you will receive a thorough report of our findings and recommended best practices for achieving your vision.
